Inoculates transplanted trees, shrubs, & plants during planting time

Mycorrhizal Products

Mycorrhiza is the relationship between the plant root and beneficial fungi. The roots of most plants are colonized by the fungus. This colonization extends far into the soil and are extensions of the root system.

Mycorrhizal fungi is found in undisturbed soils with other beneficial soil organisms. Today's common practices such as tillage, site preparation, road and home construction, minind and removal of topsoil can degrade the mycorrhizal forming potential of soil. The fungi improve the ability of plants to utilize the soil resources by ten to hundreds of times.

For a listing of mycorrhizal products, see the list below. Many of our mycorrhizal fungi products contain Soil Moist water storing polymers to reduce plant stress and water management. Refer to the specific forms listed for each product for detailed technical information and application rates.

Ecto Tabs

Ecto Tabs, mycorrhizal fungi. High performance Ecto Tabs for trees contain beneficial Ectomycorrhizal fungi with timed release fertilizer with organic matter and micronutrients. The tabs are organically based with five specifically selected highly effective mycorrhizal fungi to make trees stronger and survive transplanting. Ideal where soils have been disturbed and nutrients stripped away.

Each tablet contains 10 million spores from five types of specifically selected mycorrhizal fungi. The spores are effective in increasing water and nutrient uptake, reduction in plant disease and improvements in soil structure. Each tablet is combined with low levels of timed release fertilizers (fulvic acid base) that encourage mycorrhizal growth.

Compatibility
Ecto Tabs are designed for: Alder, Arborvitae, Arctostaphylos, Aspen, Basswood, Beech, Birch, Chestnut, Chinquapin, Eucalyptus, Fir, Hazelnut, Hemlock, Hickory, Larch, Linden, Madrone, Oak, Pecan, Pine, Poplar and Spruce.

Application
Place the Tab(s) 1/3 to 1/2 at the depth of the root zone system. For existing plants place the Tab(s) 4-6 inches deep in the soil near the drip line.

Package Sizes

Plant Tabs

Plant Tabs, mycorrhizal fungi. High performance Plant Tabs for all plants contain beneficial Ectomycorrhizal and Endomycorrhizal fungi with timed release fertilizer with organic matter and micronutrients. The tabs are organically based with twelve specifically selected highly effective mycorrhizal fungi to make plants stronger and survive transplanting.

Each tablet contains ten million spores from five types of specifically selected Ectomycorrhizal fungi, and fifty spores from seven types of specifically selected Endomycorrhizal fungi. This combination of high spore counts of endo and ecto spores gives the tablet a broad range of planting applications. Each tablet is combined with low levels of timed release fertilizers (fulvic acid base) that encourage mycorrhizal growth.

Compatibility
The blend of twelve spore types of mycorrhizal fungi allows the Plant Tab to have a wide variety of planting applications. The Plant Tab is compatible for all types of plants and shrub species except Laurels, Azaleas and Rhododendrons.
